Nasus just needs a rework

I've played at least 1000+ games on this account and my old account that got banned.

He is just too easy to lockdown. Literally has no way to escape for example if anivia walls him and combos. I literally played that exact game this morning where I beat darius in lane 9-1 then when it came time to team fight anivia zoned me the fuck out and their team took towers and won the game.

He has to farm for 20 minutes to get at least 400 stacks to be good. If he is set behind in lane by a person who is denying him farm or a jg that's camping he is useless all game. I've been playing him even before the buffs and in my opinion he was still not that good. Sure, we see people play him in high elo. But they are professional and can play anything.

Also if your team loses lanes you really can't do anythin because you got to keep stacking. Like sometimes i'll see my bot lane get ganked early when i'm stacking and feel so useless. I could tp but It would be a waste especially the fact that tp has been nerfed to the ground.

Idk I just feel like something is missing in his kit. Does anyone agree with me?

his kit is just outdated and how early games end these days he cant reach his in game fantasy

with nasus, your objective is to literally never leave toplane for any reason. teleport exists as a summoner spell to get more stacks and nothing else. mid is not a real lane. bot is not a real lane. the jungle only exists to take buffs and baron. max w second so no fighter is allowed to play the game against you. your nexus is not worth defending if it means you can get that inner turret. break your q button

Ok I won't be giving any spoilers but nasus is just one of those champs you can easily deal with if you know how.

If you don't know how to deal with him nasus can really take over games.

Anivia counters anyone with short range and no dashes.*

I mean, if you're a 9/1 Nasus, how are you guys losing the game to begin with? You have so many options to freely win when you're a 9/1 Nasus. You're practically unstoppable in a 1v1 at that point.

I dont think anivia is a good example to use.

She just hard counters immobile melee champs. Its not just nasus.

Imo nasus is fine as he is.

Plus after seeing the akali rework, I'm hesitant to have my doge reworked. I don't wanna see/be a 1000 stack nasus with a 500 range spammable dash or something.

Nasus does need a rework.

It's pretty critical these days more than ever, to win your lane and translate your lead into other lanes; Nasus isn't really able to do this because he doesn't win lane. He FARMS LANE. That's it.

I think the problem is just mobility and the lack of any tankiness currently in the game. I don't see not being able to reach 400 stacks during lane anymore as a big problem, because ever since his ult was buffed you don't need a ton of stacks to kill people. Buy a sheen and you can solo kill almost every champion at level 6.

But because of things like Conqueror, armor being generally useless, and of course the ridiculous amount of mobility these days, his lategame is alot worse than it used to be.

Try phase rush or the tenacity runes in resolve and/or precision. Maybe righteous glory second or if you're ahead enough, merc treads/swifties.

I dont want Nasus reworked despite his kit, because by luck he would get dashes and everything would be skillshots.

We need a few champions like that in this game, there is nothing wrong with being a ball of stats.

Only change i would do personally is have him get more stacks by hitting champions and less by killing minions to encourage more interactive laning, but that introduces its own problems.
