Grievous wounds nerf

Ok so after playing a series of ranked and normal games since this new patch rolled out, I've noticed how absolutely broken soraka is now that her healing is uncounterable as long as she plays somewhat smart and / or has a team that doesn't let the enemy dive her. I find it hard to see the logic in this grievous wounds nerf, soraka was already strong before this patch rolled about but atleast she was somewhat counterable with ignite when it was up. I'm trying to think of other champions that would be the reason for this change but honestly I can't think of a single champion who's main role is healing besides soraka. Jannas ult was nerfed somewhere below fioras ult heal (lol) and nami + alistar are hardly the kind of burst healers who would be hurt too much by a short duration ignite heal reduction debuff. I get that the new executioners calling items would hurt a lot but right now it doesn't seem to be very strong except against mundo or something like that while the only game I've seen soraka lose is when you have literally all 5 people ganking her lane early on and I don't think that's really an acceptable "counter" for one champion.
