Question about Fervor

I thought of a great lane push udyr build and need to know if vervor of battle can gain stacks from basic attacking towers. If it does not gain stacks does it at least freeze the current amount held (like tryndameres passive)? If someone could let me know i would appreciate. Thanks.

No, Fervor only stacks on hitting champions, and falls off after not auto'ing champions for 5 seconds or so.

Man that sucks. Well thanks for letting me know. Think the build will work fine without but it will still help to include. Gotta say udyr is legit really strong right now.
