should league update the way surrendering works?
I have always been confused on how the surrender voting works. When you got 2 afk. but not disconnected. and you got a 3 vote yes and 0 vote no. Why does that not count as a successful surrender? It makes more sense to me if something is over 50% it counts as the vote choice. Even a 3 to 1 makes no sense.
I think the surrender system should be looked over and re calibrated for certain situations. For example if all 5 are present (afk or not)
a successful surrender should include:
- 1 votes to 0
- 2 votes to 0
- 2 votes to 1
- 3 votes to 0
- 3 votes to 1
- 4 votes to 0
- 4 votes to 1
- 5 votes to 0
for 4 people (afk or not ) and one disconnected: (as above: numbers 1 through 6)
3 people (afk or not ) and two disconnected:
(as above: numbers 1 through 4)
2 people (afk or not) and 3 disconnected: (as above: numbers 1 through 2)
Now i understand some of these votes seem a little ridiculous at first however if people are NOT afk, then it should be no problem. Of course. with this new set up there would be a new rule. There would ALWAYS be a timer no matter how many votes there were. If there wasn't.. a simple 1 vote to 0 would automatically go through and plenty of trolls would be born. Hence the timer would always be on Unless all participants voted the same. This also apply's to no votes. and any 50/50 votes would be considered a no surrender.
Thoughts on the idea?
