Should Zed's Ultimate be a Skill shot?

In my time of playing League of Legends in the mid lane Zed has been a champion that has a bit of an overloaded kit. This is because he can walk up to you, press r and unload all of his abilities, resulting in one of those "press r" champions. But what if his ult was a skill shot? What if he threw out a shadow in any direction to begin his ultimate ability. Yes of course this does make the champion reasonably harder to play but it then makes the champion much more rewarding and while also keeping the traditional Zed ultimate. Zed's ult should be able to pass through minions and monsters while hitting the first champion in its path. This can be seen as a buff and a nerf as you Zed cant walk up and press r, but it will then allow him to hit his ult without vision.

It would be really cool if it also had a longer range. Zed already has insane outplay potential but imagine in a teamfight hitting a max range deathmark on the backline carry or hitting an enemy blind over a wall, killing them then escaping.

Yeah, and this would make him have to position himself in team fights as well

You want to make Zed even less reliable than he already is? There's a reason he split pushes late game.

You throw a shadow at someone and when it hits, the death mark appears

Lol, the worst idea EVER simply because it would be impossible to hit backline with it considering it's a single target spell and considering that as A skill shot it would be blocked by enemy team mate.

this would make him a terrible champ I don't main zed but I don't understand what is up with all these nerf zed posts all you do is buy QSS and Steraks Gauge or if you're AP buy Zhonyas and you are fine against him.
