URF and PBE

I am very disappointing in riot. First i am a ARAM only player (after giving up rank for medical reasons) and after the first URF event i was hooked. I campaigned for Urf to be added or be put in custom games but riot went silent.

So today i get spammed on skype by my buddy (vortex) and myself and Mlk was bronze RACED. i mean he left the gym mid set to come home and GAME on urf for how ever long it was. Myself personally was doing p90x. WE got to the computer to find the horror that it was only on the PBE.. 2 minutes of googling said we can't sign up because they pick people per cycle to join. Our favorite game mode... locked behind riot members picking (their friends) players to play the greatest game mode ever. red freaking privilege.

Riot, From the bottom of my heart. PLEASE pull urf mode into the game or atleast allow myself and my buddy PBE access.

PBE is meant to test things before they come to Live. It's not some sort of secret club that Riot locks content in.

then why am i never invited. its because i do not know a riot employeee

Maybe you just don't fit the qualifications for whatever Riot wants to test. Or maybe Riot already has enough testers for now.

Regardless, if URF's on the PBE, it'll probably hit Live fairly soon. Just be a little patient.

they should put an update when it will come out and not be like stupid valve and be quite lal the time

We do bug testing and are chosen when previous PBE testers stop playing. A lot of people want to get on PBE and the servers can only support so many. We are testing URF to check and report bugs, after we clear most of them out it will move to live.

Generally comes in next patch which happens on Thursday IIRC. Might be mistaken there though.

Edit: Rotating gamemodes are friday-monday though so I expect next weekend is when we will get it on Live.

Next weekend is another blood moon weekend according to surrender@20 so arurf won't make an appearance for another week after if not longer

URF will not be out until next patch. The next patch is not on next Thursday, it is a week from next Tuesday. If the pattern continues, it will be available on the following Thursday (2017-02-23), at the earliest.

My mistake, can never remember if it is Tuesday or Thursday. I pretty much only play on PBE except when playing with friends and since we can get up to daily patches it all blurs together at this point.

A couple of reasons. Here are the most commons.

-They want generalist players, means players that play most modes (if not all modes) available. Those are the ones that covers a bigger spectrum as testers. They only pick specialized players(e.g ARAM accounts) if they are going for a specific gamemode (eg. poro king). -They want players that play several champions, check previous point for the reasons. -They usually favors older accounts, simply because those accounts are "proven" to be owned by non-toxic players. -If you have a ban for toxicity I'm pretty sure you won't get invited to PBE (I don't think they will ban you from PBE if you get your ban after you get invited as both accounts are very independent). -Usually you have to have the account linked to an email account, if you haven't you should. -You gotta apply for a PBE, this one is kinda obvious but not all people realize that you gotta sign up for a PBE before you get invited.
