With every assassin having cc these days, can Katarina at least get a slow on her Q?

Title.

Even champions who are allowed free dashes/mobility such as and are given a slow despite them having faster burst than Katarina and with the new assassin Qyiana getting hard CC, I don't see why Katarina should be left in a state where her burst damage doesn't nearly complete with that of other assassins and is still expected to be able to keep up with assassinating the highly mobile picks in this meta.

She heavily relies on or in order to get even half her ultimate off on anybody with a brain, and even then Rylai's is a totally shit pick on her. Not to mention most adcs (her primarily target) are just as mobile as any diver nowadays.

Katarina is due an update as the meta has shifted drastically since her last changes.

She certainly does not.

She can instantly blink to any location within her effective range be it minions, monsters, or champions.

That is hands down the strongest kind of mobility in the game, no contest.

She has literally no escape other than to rely on an incoming minion wave when in a side lane trying to pick someone off and her ultimate is downright dogshit in that it can be walked away from. When was the last time you walked away from Zed, Talon, or Fizz's ult?

Asking rhetorical questions isn't going to persuade me or open up any form of constructive discussion about Katarina.

Anyways, the offset to those downsides is that again, her teamfight is one of the strongest in the game. If you land a well placed ult it's going to be nigh inescapable, an entire team won't be able to move away from it while also fighting your team.

Katarina has one of the best kinds of mobility spells in the game (blinks) and her ultimate is one of the most devastating in the entire game if she manages to land a good one.

Kat could definitely use a small nudge in the right direction but I really don't think adding any form of CC is a good idea.

Assassins don't have CC. Their job is to catch the opponent out by repositioning themselves, not by landing a CC. You want to catch with CC and still do burst damage then learn a burst mage champion.

Which part of her will you nerf? Her numbers are already too high, if something, she will get little nerf.
