Ashe/Sivir/Essence Reaver nerf?

Hi there, we all know that Ashe and Sivir are currently strong. They are most likely going to be nerfed soon (probably in 6.17). But in my opinion the main problem is the item which gives 70 AD, 20% Crit Chance, mana sustain and especially 30% CDR (with Hurricane/PD) for 3600 Gold, also has decent buildpath. Runaan's Hurricane looks a bit too powerful right know as well. In upcoming patches I would definitely focus on Essence Reaver (maybe Hurricane) rather than these champions.

What do you think about my opinion?

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.

Interesting actually. Because...

I think if Essence Reaver was overpowered you would see it more on other champs it makes less sense on. It's not even that oppressive when you do see it built on it's own.

Nah I think it's just Ashe still being strong from s5 then getting compensation buffs because item 3009 were OP for a while. Sivir is just because they straight tacked on 100% crit dmg onto her ricochet without even tuning it (also a s5 world championship champion.... hmmmm~~~~) . Now it does hit for like 60% regular autos already... but still...

I'm pretty sure Ashe can operate just fine w/o ER. I still click to good old IE preferably.

HOWEVER. I had a thought that ER builds "outscale" strangely due to slot efficiency. They put more gold in the only six slots we have compared to 80% crit double zeal builds. If you notice all ER champs seem to do STRANGELY well late game.

item 3031 item 3508 item 3087

VS.

item 3031 item 3085 item 3087

The ER build is about 700 more gold invested. And while it has a bit less crit and attack rate it has more AD which is big. So I wondered do ER carries by virtue outscale almost automatically? Should I be building ER and not two zeals on EVERYONE if I had infinite gold late game??? Caitlyn Tristana

I been meaning to test these item powerspike dps on a tank in a custom to get a feel. I never do tho lel. Do ER 70% crit builds automatically do more dps than the cheaper 80% 2 zeal build by virtue of having more AD/ more stats in their slots?

Actually, both Ashe and Sivir were overbuffed in the early stages of S6.

Ashe got a little rework in 5.22 that left her a little on the weak side initially. Afterwards, she got direct buffs in 5.24, where her Q stacks were reduced to 4 from 5 (little impact at the time, due to League of Thunderlord's) and in 6.4, where her stacks where made to fall off sequentially and her Q lasts 5 seconds, up from 4. Imo, reverting the buff from 5.24 would go a long way for her balance state.

Sivir, same story as Ashe. Minor rework in 5.22, buffs in 5.24 (higher AD ratio on W bounces) and 6.4 (bounces can critically strike). Again, my opinion is that removing the buff from 5.24 would go a long way.

It is overpowered on Ashe and Sivir because Ashe can gain 3% of mana on every aa past the first(and she can still crit on the first if luck is with her) while having low cost spells, allowing her to spam them while farming, and Sivir can get 3*(number of ricochet target's)% mana up to 3 times. 18/21-54/63% mana from a minion wave(whether they have a cannon minion or not) is rather ridiculous on a champ that is gated by heavy mana costs and a small mana pool, don't you think? Toning that down wouldn't be too terrible of a thing.
