[Updated 10/07] Unofficial 6.21 PBE patch notes : League of Legends

Ok after ages riot decided to change nasus! So basically his R is getting a change its gives nasus 20/40/60 armor and mr, after using ult he will gain 1/2/3 armor and mr every second for the duration of the ult and his Q (siphoning strike) getting more range based on R level.

Nasus R used to give u more ad but now nasus is getting a lot tankier and possibly getting better in teamfights

i wanted to know how do u guys feel about this change?

I'm surprised OP's name hasn't been changed.

Anyway, Nasus getting the absolutely strongest defensive steroid in the game is consistent with his ultra high potential scaling counter-balanced by his garbage laning phase. Sounds good.

i have 600k with nasus this season and i agree. with this change in his ult u have less kill potential but ur a better champ for ur team overall can tank and bait so much better with his new ult

Holy moly.

his q range already increases when he ults.

does it scale past its current range, or up to it towards rank 3? because if its the latter its a nerf on that part.

They're not saying WHEN HE ULTS, they're saying, his Q range increases per rank in R. AS A PASSIVE....

the patch gonna go live on pbe in a couple days, until then its not 100% for sure but no his q gains increased range while hes in ult form if it was passive then it would be op af

Siphoning Strike (Q) range now increase by this ability ranks

It made a sense... of course... He will get his Q range buff like Jax's W.

It would be cool if the cane got big and bigger as the more stack become.

Why does Nasus have to be in a good spot? Can't he just sit in obscurity forever? item 3070 item 3070 Seriously though with his passive won't he just be unkillable in lane and make him unable to be shoved away from stacking once he hits 6?

Captain BIack1 votes

well Nasus doesnt have a good winrate rn and he needed some item 2009 item 2010 for a long ass time!

AL0001 votes

It won't make him more tankier.... just more durable in teamwork.

Nasus is never meant to be tank but bruiser/duelist... No way he can be frontline and chase the enemy.

Real problem is his trading lane at early game... but we will find out later.

true 60 bonus armor is nothing when theres an enemy jinx with 100 crit chance, but still better then nothing i guess :/

Then Nasus is truly dead to me.

Q won't gain range with R level, but the bonus range from both abilities will stack, so an R-empowered Nasus will have 200 range on his Q.

As for the switch from AD to resists, it's an improvement, though I think the ability might need more work overall. Nasus's ult is still mostly going to be a jumble of lots of different stats, plus some random-looking DoT, when it could be a lot more interesting. Nasus's ult needs to have an identity beyond "get really strong for a quarter minute", and while the PBE change concentrates his power into tankiness, it doesn't really solve that core issue.
