Suggestion for wards: Anti-ward zone after placing a ward for ~1 second.

So, one of the more mildly annoying things that happens in the game is when you go to place a ward in some brush, and your ally is thinking the exact thing, and you both place it down around the same time, burning both wards for no real gain. I'm sure just about everyone has seen or experienced this at least once in their life. I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if once an ally places a ward somewhere, that for about a second or so, the area of sight given by that ward will not allow for another ward to be placed there for a second or so. This would prevent people from double dropping wards, and still (with the exception of edge cases) not interfere with champions like Lee Sin, who might need to use wards as a method of travel. Any thoughts on this?

While generally useful there's one strategy I fell victim to that would be thwarted by this...

My team was in the river, with a pink ward in the island bush. The enemy wards over the wall, we instantly clear it out. The enemy wards again, we clear it out. The enemy then unloads a barrage of wards. We figure they were just messing around, but we were happy to take the gold, and started clearing them out.

Then their Fiddlesticks ulted over the wall, right into the middle of our entirely unprepared team. They destroyed us, all because they could place down multiple wards in the same area.

Double watching could also be useful around Baron or Dragon, to see the situation longer before the vision is cleared out.

Pros often ward redundantly to make areas harder to clear. They might see this as a nuisance.

In reply to people who have used strategies involving multiple ward placements: Maybe this could be a toggleable option?

Double warding actually has its uses because unless the champion has an AA reset, because a champion alone cannot kill one ward with item 3341

It's less of a problem than it was. Now that trinkets are readily available and people (generally) know how to ward, it's a lot less common than it was back in Season 3. I can generally tell when my teammate's going to drop a ward just on positioning alone. Doing that alone has dropped the chances of this happening by about 50% for me, and TBH it wasn't that big of a deal to begin with.

Pus as DrCyanide said, ward baiting is fun. Nothing like having the enemy team getting free gold off wards while Malphite charges in with an Ori ball on him, followed up by a Wombo Combo from firecrotch.

Let's get people to actually ward or even buy trinkets 100% of the time before we start with the QoL issues. I agree this could be fixed, but this is very low on the list of things that needs to be systematically solved for right now.

This is dumb as hell you could just communicate with your team

But sometimes you want to place multiple wards in the same area (like when trying to steal Baron) so they can't easily deny vision with a sweeper.
