The teaser pictures show them being pierced in certain symbolic locations.
Zed was pierced in the eye, for he was blinded by his lust for power. Sona was pierced in the throat, for she could not voice her grief when the etwahl killed her adoptive mother. Garen was pierced through the heart, for his heart was torn between duty for Demacia, and his feelings for Katarina.
Now we just have to wait for Vi's teaser.

i've read their lores and no romance is mentioned between them. i seen allegations like these with zac-riven and rengar-nidalee, but not reinforced by the lore. Unless there is a larger lore i missed.

It's heavily implied that Garen and Katarina have a thing for each other. It's also worth mentioning that despite clashing viciously with each other, they leave each other alive in a stalemate; in normal circumstances, a Demacian would fight to the death against a Noxian, not let them live another day.

Name is "Deadeye", referring to a sharpshooter or someone with startling accuracy and precision when handling a firearm.
He's a sniper.
