What advice would you give to someone who has been away from League for about a month? What champions are always banned? Is Leona still viable? And/or what has been the biggest change in the most recent patch?
Any comments about any of the above would be much appreciated! Thank you League community in advance :)

(Is a frequent ban as well), I often throw in an ban just because she's toxic as hell to lane against if you're anything other than a long ranged champion or a super strong bursty assassin.
Leona is definitely viable, but currently tanky supports that are favored are 
, I imagine if you ran into most of these with Leona, it could make your job rather difficult.
Zeke's herald got reworked into Zeke's Harbinger, it's a pretty solid item. Nidalee got a slight damage nerf on her spears, it made very little difference to be honest. Fiora got a rework. Ekko got some fairly substantial buffs. Below is the Wiki link for the patch if you'd like to see more details.
