A sincere request as a player from S.Korea about Solo Q

First, because i am from S. Korea, my english would not be perfect. Sorry for my mistakes of grammar. (and i am the player who really hope LOL last as the "legend" aos game forever)

I guess Riot didn't realize the main problem yet. Ratios? Match Making time & system? I do not care any of them which one did get better. But! to say one thing as a player who really loves LOL, we all lost the goal to play rank games and achieve high ranks (this is base on the major thought of the biggest korean LOL community site, Inven). Why? cuz nobody will believe each other's tier and it really does in korea right now. After Solo Queue has been removed and only dynamic queue are allowed, lots of folks started to form groups and made their tier high, even their skill and proficiency are not high enough. Since the competitive gaming culture is absolutely strong in Korea, the "TIER" means the "GOAL" to play LOL to most players. and guess what? What would "No respect for high rankers" mean?

We could still cooperate with our friends with normal queue enough and the reason WHY we want solo Queue is that we need a "Credible" standard to measure our current relative proficiency, not the skill of our friendships!!!! Seriously, I'm not kidding and at least in korea, everyone w.a.n.t.s our solo Q back. If not, it won't last too long because "Overwatch" is still waiting for all of us.. :)

100% truth, brother. Dynamic Queue isn't even good for friendships because of the tension it creates.

100% truth, brother. Dynamic Queue isn't even good for friendships because of the tension it creates.

That's subjective. Horribly subjective.

I mostly add anyone who is rather good and not as toxic as people suggest.

I duo with friends I like playing with in general. If people are being assholes and people who are EXTREMELY toxic, I remove them and move on. If you and your friends argue over a game, the friendship isn't worth keeping, imo. If you allow yourself to be around toxicity and fight all the time, then that's on you.

Isn't there also a problem with scripters/hackers in South Korea?

I don't think that Riot will rescind dynamic queue in the middle of the season. We'll have to wait until pre-season to see if they'll finally listen to us.

I'd say there's a chance they will backtrack, but there's also a good chance they will continue to try to fix issues with DQ, and spend another season on it.

If not, it won't last too long because Overwatch is still waiting for all of us.. :)

But Overwatch has a Dynamic Queue system too, so it wouldn't solve much there.

Overwatch's competitive system is also currently broken though.

True. Overwatch has to deal with stacking AND Dynamic Queue.

In higher level play, there is already a heavy meta. Such as the lucio+mercy or double winstons. I prefer the clown fiesta quick matches.

Metas show a game is healthy. Its making it so anything has a relatively similar potential for success that many games mess up on.

Lucio+mercy isn't a problem. You're giving up a lot of dps that way. Double Winston IS a problem because it invalidates his counter AND heavily counters a very generous portion of the roster.

I probably used the wrong word. I meant more along the lines of things like the double winstons and other abusive comps becoming popular. My bad.
