Quinn players don't think she's particularly strong right now. She had a couple of nerfs throughout this season since the last time she was dominant and there's some concern that the changes to Celerity are going to hit her harder than expected.

In general, Quinn relies on snowballing an early lane advantage into picks and getting other lanes ahead through roams. She doesn't really like champions like Pantheon who have a similar playstyle, nor are tanks her favorite thing in the world. Someone like Darius can also capitalize on Quinn's misplays in a strong way. In general you want to position around your minions so she can't get free Qs off on you and keep her vault in mind--if she vaults aggressively you have an opportunity to return poke that she has no real answer to. While she is a marksman, Quinn plays primarily like an assassin and can be shut down in a lot of the same ways. She is designed to punish your mistakes and take advantage of her range against melee champions. She has a tendency to push into your tower which can be punished by your jungler if she isn't maintaining proper vision control--which at lower elos a lot of Quinns won't be doing. Her splitpush is significantly weaker than other toplaners like Trynd and Jax and when she overextends she can be punished for it much more easily. Quinn thrives on a lack of coordination--her movespeed lets her take advantage of people overextending alone, keeping lanes pushed out, contesting objectives and jungle camps, etc. However, she remains a squishy marksman while doing all of this. You definitely have to adjust your mindset while facing a Quinn top, and I won't pretend it's particularly fun to face if you're a melee tank/bruiser used to facing other melee tanks/bruisers, but I think to call her broken is an overstatement at this point (and upcoming rune changes are looking to have a negative rather than positive effect on Quinn overall).

Her Vault is 100% what makes her OP.

It needs to be nerfed.

Quinn needs her old kit back.

I mean, Valor is basically a glorified jetpack these days. He deserves better.

I think she's strong against disorganized/unaware teams, but otherwise is easy to deal with as long as you're playing someone with decent utility. She primarily scales off of the opposing team's stupidity, doesn't need nerfs. I personally don't think she's strong enough 1v1 or in teamfights to really be a balance issue, especially since neither lethalitiy or pen are busted anymore.

If you pick someone into her with more utiity, you outscale her simply by existing while she has to get a lead just to keep up with you.

So she's strong against solo Q teams?

More so players that don't watch the map and/or comprised mostly of squishy damage dealers with little to no utility. Nearly all of her strength comes from her ability to roam, flank and pick people off. I personally think she's better in the jungle than in top lane, as it's a lot harder to counter her strengths there, plus she clears pretty easily. She also has flexible build-pathing options, which is another plus for jungling.

who do you advise to counter her on top lane? Every time i face her, i struggle to counter her poke and her map presence is crazy early game, making hard sometimes to hold lanes.

Spam the ENEMY MIA ping and even in chat when she goes missing at lvl 6 and has ignite for her summoner spell. If you have a dash, or blink (bettter would be a targeted CC) you can follow her easily after her e and q combo, she has to only rely on her passive MS to get away and kite while her e is on CD.

Getting her to push up and have your jungler gank is a good option too. Especially if you run up to her and bait out her E. Then she has no way to escape the gank besides her flash. As darius you can use your e on her when she is traveling towards you during her e. If I remember correctly your E will catch her and pull her to you.

The best champ to play against her is poppy. Your e makes it extremely hard for her to get away. You can do something like flash+E into a wall then Q and activate w when she tries to E away. Even just running at a Quinn with you E up might make them panic and cast e on you to hop away, which then means you have a free stun on her because poppy’s W makes it so enemy champs can’t dash through a circle around you.

And you gain natural armor too. Just let the Quinn step on your shield if it is too far away and you can’t get to it without receiving a ton of damage from her combo.

Sion does pretty well against her, both in lane and team fights. She doesn't really have an answer for his constant E poke, using Vault puts her in range to get hit by any of his skills, and he gets too tanky for her to deal with pretty quickly. All you have to do is not feed and you'll be more useful than her. Then again, it's not like dying a few times can stop Sion anyway.
