Alright, I've played League enough on multiple accounts to be able to make a pretty good assessment of the game's ranked mode. My conclusion is that RIOT is a dishonest company and they rig the ranked system to screw players over and cause them to climb a muddy hill.

The way I see it is that unless you're Plat level or you're very lucky, it is almost impossible to get from bronze to gold. At least this is what I have noticed with newer account.

I have an older account that was created in Season 5 that is gold 3 now and another newer account that started in bronze 2 (season placements). In the gold elo, matches are a bit more balanced, unless you get the occasional afk/troll. But on the new account, that's where things get interesting. I climbed slowly from bronze 2 to silver 1, and all of a sudden matches became impossible to win, dropping me back to silver 4.

I've lost so many games in a row that at this point I predict I will be back in bronze in the next few games. And mind you, I generally try to carry and end with the highest stats on the team. You can repeat the mantra that "it is your fault" but, no. Nice try. Not this time. That mantra must be bs that some cretin at Riot put out to place blame on the players and move attention from their rigged system. I play pretty well for my skill level, but it is impossible to constantly carry 1 v 5, when the 5 other players are obviously much higher skill level than the rest of your team.

This is not to say there aren't times that I don't make mistakes, but generally I play at the gold elo level. If that wasn't the case, I would be gold 3 on the older account. But even so, I shouldn't need to be challenger skill level to climb. And I should have to constantly carry, it is a damn "team game" after all.

The matchmaking system should place equally ranked players together. But no, that's not the case. I mean, it is pathetically obvious that is not the case when, for example, your team's cs is trash compared to the opponents' cs. And this has been a constant occurrence.

I play for fun and don't care to move past the gold elo. This is suppose to be a game for various skill levels. And if I'm gold level, it shouldn't be impossible to climb into that from bronze. But it is, at least with the new account.

Either way, I'm not sure how this game is still alive. There must be a lot of fools playing it. And I'm not longer one of them. I highly recommend you guys get off of this game. It is ran by a dishonest company.

Rank isn't rigged you're just not good enough. A half second glance at your stats will tell anyone the same thing

According to Mobalytics.gg your play has been Silver tier. Your history also shows a tendency to tilt after loss -- that is to say to you go on unusually long losing streaks.

According to WhatIsMyMMR.com, your MMR has been tracking approximately the same as your tier, around 1000 for ranked games.

i made it to plat 3 seasons in a row.

i didnt play during the last season, so they throw me in low bronze regardless of going 10-0 in placements. Yeah no thanks im not gonna support riot's garbage "ranking" system. see some of my friendlist in plat, and whenver we play, they feed hardcore and i have to carry them, while they are ranked plat and i get shoved down into bronze and get massive feeders every game?

yeah this crap is rigged to try to get people to play more

I dont believe its actually about rigged system while it might be rigged it think its more a problem you have just addressed. People ALL THE TIME make new accounts and try to climb back to the elo they had in the previous account. This leads to scewed games from where the game STARTS your MMR in ranked to the rank that they all originally belong. so anything from BRONZE to as you said Gold is typically half people like you and half people that are actually in the skill the belong. This results in coinflip games in this elo range. Iron is easy to carry because NO ONE knows how to win so you just hit the structure (inting sion style) and eventually you win because they stop thinking youra threat by the 15th death Lel. In silver/gold people have smurfs not smurfs kinda smurfs bad players that got lucky new players and so on. Silver gold area IS 'RIGGED' by riot simply because its where they STARTED your MMR for Ranked, and all ranked games suffer the BELLCURVE mentality. Riot did RIG it just not the way you think. Players(smurfs) rigged it against themselves. You have to play at the level of the players that are tryna smurf, which is as you've stated gold/plat.

What's hilarious to me is it takes almost pretty much no effort for riot to add massive amounts of time to climb by just changing their adjustment values. It does not need to make any effort to force a loss but accomplishes the end goal of adding time to climb. For, get this, Literally 100% of the ladder. All MMR, all levels of skill, all champions. Everything.

You want to dick a single account over with out harming the ladder? Also easy. Slant that accounts MMR gains. You always get less on a win then on a loss. This dicks some one over but does not requite the MM system to take any extra time to look for teammates to specifically screw some one.

and to be clear calling the system rigged is implying its out to get you, bitching about teammates implys its out to get YOU. you specifically because hey turns out there are still players climbing, still players who smurf and make it to high tiers. Your entire viewpoint is the games rigged vs YOU.

Wanna know what makes games shitty with a high % more then Riot trying to attack you? % of toxic players. The more common tilted and toxic teammates are the more your going to have a shitty game. MMR does not at all interact with playerbehavior outside of player trends. No accounting for attitude. If some one is gonna want to give up a match instantly because they did not win lane or Because some one said mean things to them like "please ward river".

Right now the lack of players with any understanding of how to work as a team feels painfully high to me. This by the way is my preception on the issue and inhenrently is not Fact. For me Its like Season 1 again when folks are constantly toxic AF telling everybody on their team to do exactly as they demand or else. MID OR FEED. Good times.... The only difference for me is I am no longer one of them.

Anyhow your running into a real struggle with teammates when you hit silver which represents a majority of players. Guess what's gonna happen if that majority is bad? every game will suck. Guess what happens if its not even a majority but enough that 10-20% of the population are issues? you have them in games all the time because its 10 players a game. Guess what happens if you get tilted and become an issue when your frustrated till ya calm down? 100% of your games are an issue till you chill.

But hey... Riot can control your and others attitudes am I right? That's why your being Rigged and why your sitting with 10 L over W after over 100 games.

TLDR. All end goals of Rigging a match can be done with less work by just changing MMR values. Tilt is bad. Game quality drops in relation to increases in trolls, greifers, low maturity, and tilted players.

The first game I played yesterday had a troll. Fed 4 kills then left the game. I feel like I do well when teammates aren’t totally brain dead, but half the time someone is tilted or inting. Some days I win four or five in a row, or lose as many games. I try to pick stuff that’s fun. Kalista is underrated and strong with the right supports and teamcomps.

Knowing when to dodge is half the battle. Don’t play with someone who looks like a troll. Names like “im bad” or a screw loose, etc. Also banning a teammates champion is a big tell.

Rigged? No.

Full of smurfing assholes? Yes.

And hells another guy in the thread even checked your scores&Stats and found that you play on a silver level on the account you are posting on......nice going.

Whether or not you agree with riot doing something unethical for financial gain, the fact is, and I dont think anyone can disagree, is that if they DID change the algorithms for matchmaking to reward certain behaviors, (e.g. non-toxicity, spending, etc. ) that it would benefit the company greatly.

Also, another fact is, CLIMBING IS ADDICTING.
