A Ranked Fix

As many of you know, the struggle is real to get out of bronze and silver hell. You don’t even begin to see relief until Silver 3 from the feeders, the clueless, and the trolling. But fear not my friends, for I have discovered the solution to the problem.
** Heimerdinger Listen up Riot, cause you gon’ Lurn T’Day! (but seriously, please read this) Heimerdinger **

Here is how I see it. We implement a weighed scale for Bronze 5 through Silver 3. This scale uses your personal scores K/D/A to earn LP in addition to winning or losing. With this system, good players are moved up the ranks to play with other good players. As you progress through the tiers, this personal score weight becomes less and less until you reach Silver 3 and it falls off completely to where the system exists as it does now, with LP being given strictly on a W/L basis.

The details of how this should work are beyond me, and I am up for any feedback to assist in making this system a reality. I feel as if it should be based on a single score attribute.
2 assists = 1 point. 1 kill = point and 1 death = -0.5 or 1 point (not sure how to balance). A disconnect on a team that lost would subtract an additional 10 LP to their existing game score. A scoring system like this would promote team work in the 3 major ways that cause people to get stuck in the low tier hell. It punishes feeders, plain and simple. It promotes communication to coordinate ganks and other team based plays (to earn kills and/or assists). Finally it punishes the trolls by only taking their LP instead of the entire team.

I am happy to hear productive feedback from Riot and other users. I have been seeking a way to help end the struggle for months and after many observations and a lot of conversation amongst peers, I think I have the skeletal structure for success. Help me fill in the gaps or provide reasons why you think it wont work (with supporting evidence not opinion). Thanks guys!

Or you can get good and climb with personal skill.

Seriously a dead cat could climb out of bronze/silver.

You must play so well that you are a impact in every game to climb.

It's an interesting idea. I feel like people would try hard to just get kills, though, and that would lead to people going ham at early levels. This can lead to two possibilities: the player actually does succeed and snowballs greatly, or the player feeds uncontrollably and the player they fed starts roaming and hinders anyone else from gaining pleasing stats.

This is a strategy game and it can sometimes be mundane (i.e. there are boring lane match ups where all you do is farm), but it is strategy nonetheless. It's about fast, smart decision-making.

With the given point distribution, support-mains would not move as quickly as a good carry.

I don't have any evidence to support this, but I feel like Riot is fine with the current setup. I feel like most of the money is spent by players who are gold+ (skins and so forth). It is hard to move up, but I feel like if one is stuck in bronze after playing regularly for a whole season, then they are where they belong. I don't view myself as a great player, but I was able to make it to gold this season with 2 separate accounts. There are subtle differences that separate low ranked players with high ones. I know that I don't belong in Plat or higher. It takes a lot of practice (and time to practice), being gifted at video games, and a keyboard/mouse speed and control. If you watch the featured games on the League homepage you will notice this. They do some pretty incredible things. The game, as a whole, is similar in all ranks, but knowing when to take objectives, knowing when to be passive and when to be aggressive, and champion match-up knowledge play a crucial role in one's ranking.

I'm not shutting your opinion down. It's a interesting idea that could possibly be implemented in a different type of game play.
