Last season in ranked I was new to league and I won one ranked game and got placed in bronze 3. My friend won 3 games and got put in bronze5. This season we both won 6 of our 10 games and he still got bronze 5 and i got bronze 4. I dont see how i could get placed worse with more wins than last season.

FHMarshy1 votesdon't worry. Season reset takes into consideration of your ranks from previous season before giving you a new rank.
ALSO, in rank reset, Riot always have been putting people lower than where they should be so they can make sure the better player climbs to where they are supposed to be and the newer player would be where they belong :)
