If I have 1 lp will I be demoted if i lose another game?

I have 1 lp right now, do I have to lose 2 games in a row to demote or can I demote with just 1 game?

Nope. you gotta be at zero LP. Even then, you gotta lose like 2 games at zero LP, or 3 before being demoted.

Thanks man, had some rough games today, or specifically one that threw me over the edge of sanity, lets just say playing against singed, trydamere and nasus all on the same team isn't fun

Ikr, I thought it was an easy win but their troll team comp worked cuz our adc and supp fed and mid got 4 man ganked like every 3 minutes

You can get demoted after one game at 0 if you dropped from a higher LP, and from experience it's usually one game. The buffer at 0 is after promotion.

I got demoted to Plat 4 after one loss at 0LP P3 (after a loss streak from like 80LP), and I even skipped over P3 to P2 anyway when I climbed back up, so it wasn't a low MMR problem.

Ah ok, usually it's always been like 2 games after reaching 0 LP for me.
