I actually think the idea of plates is what makes this game so one sided stomp this season. It should not have plates or at least only 2 thresh holds of gold. For example half health the tower gives you gold and one destruction. If youre bot lane and you make one wave mistake or enemy jg gank they just take plates off you and snowball soo hard when what riot wanted was to keep farming ADC to scale under a tower. Thus giving enemies huge gold income even when you cant even stand under tower to farm. All in all i think plates give way too much gold early and should just be toned down so if your are behind you at least get some time to be rewarded to cs under enemy pressure rather than no matter what you do the enemy will always be ahead and snowball.

Any other thoughts on plates? being healthy or not?

i think there are legitimate criticisms

So maybe it's a bit too much gold

I feel like towers should just have this across all of them, for the entire game

tier 1 towers, tier 2 towers, etc

tier 2 towers should start with as much as the tier 1 tower's final bar and then scale accordingly, t3 would start where t2 left off, and t4 (Nexus) should actually be insanely tanky.

this would both speed up the game through gold find and allow for farm up time for comebacks
