I think need absolutely stop any balance changes around PRO SCENE

Many of you see this from year to year. When some almost dead champions get more nerfs (and i think they never get buffed cause PROS in danger), because they are effective in PRO GAMES. I'm really saddened by this fact as I think and absolutely all mains of the affected champions. Even with this, Balance team trying force meta what they think can be look better in worlds. I think this is absolutely incorrect when the organization extols the desires of viewers more than needs of players in a quality product. I emphasize that when changes made to the game are made with the goal of diversifying the games of professionals, the quality of the game for players is highly reduce. The balancing team answering such questions usually goes away from a direct answer, saying that it tries to please everyone at once, which is impossible and carries only a deterioration in the overall quality of the game. I believe that the balancing team must once and for all determine what the game is for, for the sake of players, or for the spectators of professional games. (information from lolgraphs) Lets see some examples in PBE patch...

Sejuani SEJUANI Bronze winrate - 47.7% Diamond winrate 45.6% Has nerf testing on PBE Permafrost (E) damage lowered from 30/45/60/75/90 to 20/35/60/65/80 Previous changes V8.14 Ult stun duration nerfs V8.12 Jungle clear changes, mana cost lowered, ap scales added V8.7 E Stun duration nerf, health growth nerf V8.3 Q Cooldown increased

Gnar GNAR Bronze winrate - 47.5% Diamond winrate - 48.8% Has nerf testing on PBE Base armor lowered from 32 to 28 Previous changes V8.4 Q cooldown on catch lowered, E base damage inceased, Ult passive Q on catch cooldown reduction deleted

This is examples what Riot Balance Team want to do for their PRO PLAYERS. I think in next patch we see nerf for next couple of dead champions (cause WORLDS)... In this game many champions, the murder of which was made much earlier. Azir AZIR (44.9% - bronze, 46,3% diamond) Ryze RYZE (43.6% - bronze, 45.5% diamond) Galio GALIO (46.7% - bronze, 49% diamond) Kalista KALISTA (45.5% - bronze, 46.5% diamond) Shen SHEN (48.6% - bronze, 47.4% diamond) Ornn ORNN (45.6% - bronze, 46.9% diamond) (not all affected champions)

I think this need to stop. Balance is real, then balance team make ONE choice... What is more important, your players mostly love this game (towers dont die in 2 autos, cs really mean something, then you take azir or kalista your team dont instantly leave cause think you troll), but pro teams want take azir and kalista more than 1 time per season and farm 20+ minutes, or your players leave this game more and more (3-4 ignites in every team, random oneshots, divers dont get any risk and you cant back cause your tower instantly die), but pro teams take flashy champs and dont farm 20+ minutes. By what you can see, we can conclude that the Riot chose the second option. And we, as players, can change this if we want. We just need to bring to them that we want a change in this approach, completely change. Its all what i want to say, i hope someone agree with this. Good luck and sorry for bad english...

the problem is, most of these champions aren't good in pro play only, they're very oppressive in high elo too. Gnar Azir Ryze Kalista Ornn when they were strong, they were dominating pro play and high elo at once. Currently, they aren't too strong in both pro and high elo, but they shouldn't be buffed either. These champions are generalists, and when they're strong, they basically are too good at everything to be passed on.

There are some outliers like Seju, who just have perfect pro-jungling kit, or Shen who ult is too good to pass. But we can't expect champions with defined niche like Yorick to be played as often as Azir.

Nerfing for pro play is fine, buffing is when riot runs into issues. I'm fine with some champions being underpowered in solo queue if it makes pro play more fun to view. Also keep in mind that not everyone plays solo queue, the champions strong in pro are also strong in other high elo organized formats (and most definitely will be a problem in clash whenever that comes out).
