I'm tired of getting sh!t on (in general, but specifically with Lux).
I just want to not feel useless in my games anymore.
It started with farming chests at the beginning of hextech crafting. I'm an ADC main, and all the champs I own for that role I've earned chests for. I decided to try picking up mid, so I chose Lux, who is supposedly an easier champ to learn. Every game I'm being eaten alive. I try keeping a distance, saving my binding for after their dashes and whatnot, but I keep getting bursted from full health to 0 after my opponent's first back. After that I'm behind, so I feel useless. I have no damage cause I have to build a defense item first, I invite my team to flame me because I lost lane and have to depend on a gank to get back into the game, and what's worse is that all of a sudden I've got a target on my back for the whole enemy team that says "look! free gold!" And what's worse is that I have to sit through a half hour of this.
Is midlane just a bad lane to pick up? Should I try picking up tanks instead? Cause on the one hand, I'd hate to do that because tanks are busted anyway and I don't want to encourage Rito to keep shifting things towards the perpetual tank meta.
But on the other hand, seeing as how I'm in bronze 5 and only play normals, do is it even worthwhile for me to consider the meta? I'm just so confused and tilted. Advice with Lux/midlane/for noobs please.
I swear to god I will report any and all who say, "just git gud." If you're telling me I have to practice, that's one thing, I can accept that. But save the obnoxious troll-tastic memes plz.
