So how do I get out of bronze? I can't win over 30 games in a row. There is just no way.

As you win more games than lose games, the LP gain increases and the LP loss decreases. TLDR : just win more than you lose, and consistently (60% winrate for instance)

I literally have to win 16 to gain lp. If i win 15 and loose 1 game I go back to 0lp. Have you tried playing ranked at bronze, every other game someone goes afk or trolls.

Yes, it's hilariously easy. Your mates can be feeding or afk and you can still 1v9

IF you are in a place where you can win 15 games and lose one then your MMR will increase. Heck winning 5 aand the nlossing 1 would evne fix this issue you are having.

But considering that you must be doing something wrong to be losing 30 and getting only 3 in the first place IT IS YOU NOT THE SYSTEM.

The only way to improve your MMR is to consistently win more then you lose.

You currently are sitting at 187 wins and 211 losses in ranked.

If you can even get your wins even to your losses you should be far more around gain 15 lose 15.

This has nothing to do with good, Its literally about how much i psychically have to win to even get lp. Ie every 16 games i gain around 3lp and thats if my win rate s 16-1 at that stage.

honestly, if you are that fucked, i'd just try to get your win/loss back to around 50% then worry about LP.

It could be faster to actually level up another account.

I've done both, the day i learned to play to win instead for LP, the faster i climbed..

yup because you can totally 1v5 teams and win by yourself. its a team game. you must be really good. to win a 4v5. you must be exceptionally good or someone on your team is to win a 3v5. if the rest of your team is shit. not much you can od

I started out in bronze 5 and carried myself to S4 as a support Morgana. Don't blame the team.

that is weird. how low is your MMR relative to your elo? what is your elo?

Was expecting someone in gold or something.

Bronze shouldn't even use LP.

Make it a flat 5x faction(1,2,3,4,5). Meaning it takes 4 games to get into bronze 5 promo to 4. But 10 for bronze 1 to silver 5.

I know a few people who just give up at some point because they're stuck in bronze. If they're meant for bronze, they'll stay there. But I don't feel bronze should be placed in the same grading system. If you expect them to only move up when playing like a plat. You're asking too much. They just need to learn to win first. Nothing stopping them from falling on their face and back to bronze if they fail in silver.

Don't have a 0 MMR that helps a lot. Either you are fighting against people way under your skill or you are just really deep in the MMR hole. If you only win 3 then you are probably at fault.

LP gain/loss is based on your MMR, which is determined by all kinds of things that relate to how you perform in a match (not just KDA).

  • When your MMR is really low, you get less for a win and lose a lot more LP.

  • When your MMR is about where it should be, you get about equal for a win / loss.

  • When your MMR is higher than the average in your division, you gain a lot of LP for a win, and lose very little.

  • When your MMR is MUCH higher than the average in your division, you're likely to jump ranks in a division (Like, S5 to S3 in one promotion).

Edit: After looking at your MMR, it's really low for your division. So just tighten up your gameplay, and make sure to worry about more than just KDA. :3

Win more than you lose, and your MMR will increase. If your MMR increases by enough, your LP gains and losses will be more even. If you only gain 3 LP per win and lose 30 per loss, you have the MMR of like a bronze 15 or something. The good news is there should be a lot of ways you can improve from there.

Your LP gains and losses will even themselves out as you win more games. Don't think of it as playing to win LP at this point... you're playing to stabilize your MMR (the hidden parameter riot uses to match people of equal skill). Right now your MMR is too low for your rank; once you raise it by winning games you'll start to get more LP and lose less.

"But Goose, why even have LP if you're just playing for mmr?"

Great fuckin question, mate. Good luck.
