as you can see i just finished my placements and im not to happy with it i placed bronze 5 and went 6-4 in your placement games and as you can also see my friends both of my friends went 8-2 and placed in bronze 4 and 5 like you need to fix something or let everyone play the provisional again because you guys are a billion dollar game and this shouldnt be happening you guys need to be on top of this and really check out whats really going on . please do something

ofart1 votesIt goes a lot by your last season's MMR and everyone tends to get placed closer to the average. Even a Challenger player can't get placed higher than Platinum 1. Also, they will still get Platinum 1 even if they go 0-10

Or they could just show your MMR instead of this fancy BS with tiers and divisions.

Lindts1 votes^. If you were already in bronze, the formula will place you lower than that division in bronze lol. Say you were bronze 2. Your mmr was sayyyyy.... 900. You follow the formula so you end up with a start mmr of 950. That's like an up, because they gave you 1000 in mmr lol. Your placement matches will start at rank bronze 2ish. Any games that you lose will demote you lower. 6/10 will knock you down to bronze 5. If you somehow get 10/10, you will still be lower than your original rank, but at the highest that the formula calculates.
For example, my friend was in gold 4, she went 8/10 in her provisionals and ended up in silver 3. If she did that well, and she obviously had a better mmr, that was kind of a knock. The only reason you didn't drop so many divisions or tiers was because you're already at the bottom.

junglerboy161 votesUh, You should never share your account, even with friends, it's against the terms of service and will likely get you banned if you aren't careful about it.
As for being low MMR from that incident, I can only say that your preseason placement makes that much more sense. If you are actually good enough to be silver, you should have no trouble getting back to silver and beyond.
