More fair ranking system basic idea

Purpose:

-To create a more fair ranking system even over lose. -To reduce afk , feed, passive play (not focusing on win by just wasting time around).

How: By using the honor / letters ranking system already in place (which seems pretty accurate).

Why this proposition:

One of the main frustrating factors in team game is when you get better, but not enough to "carry" your teammate. This (lets call it gray zone) is the worst part because you are able to see the mistake your team does, but you don't have the skill or knowledge to overcome those mistake. (It will happen at everyone in every elo) you can't really avoid it since it's part of learning curve. But the paradox is: to learn from those mistakes you must see the consequences from the bad choice you make, when you are in the gray zone you don't have those consequences, because the mistake you make (most of the time) don't have consequence as they should be, because you are over your elo and people don't have enough knowledge of the game to punish you. So at this point, your learning curve slow down and become frustrating because you are still able to see the mistake your team make but don't see your's (which still have an impact on the end game). So why not find a system where people in this zone can still get out and keep learning.

Suggestion

With the ranking letter system ( S , A , B , C, D ) it gives you a good idea of how you did play over your teammates. Meaning if you get an S you are over the overall play your team did , win or lose, so the penalty from lose should be split consequently. Someone who afk , or get a D while most of is teammate got an A, did not play the skill level required for this elo, and should be more punished than the one who did better than is team. Same for the win, if you get D and win because your teammates did better than you (they will have A or S) you did not play the skill level for this elo.

So if an average ranked points gain for a win, let say it is 15 and mostly the same for a lose, it could be: 5 players mean 75pts much or less, for each rank you get over your team those points should be given or withdraw accordingly (win or lose):

For each letter above the average letters ranking of your team you could get: -For a win, 100%+20% ranking points per letter above this average. -For a lose you should lose 100% - 20% raking points per letters ranking above this average. For each letter under the average letters of your team you could get: -For a win you get 100% - 20% ranking points per letters under this average. -For a lose you lose 100% + 20% ranking points per letters under this average. Honor system could give bonus to those ranked points.

I know this is really basic but its just a structure, which with some working could improve the will to keep playing this game for many people.

You forget that not every good or bad score is deserved.

If you get camped, you'll do poorly in score, even if you play as good as possible. If your jungler camps you, you'll get a far better score than you actually earned.

And it discourages things that lead to victory at the cost of score. You disincentivize dying to steal drake, or dying for any other reason, even if that reason is overall worthwhile.

The final score is not only based on kill death ratio. You can be camped by the jungler and still have a good score. You can die for a drag and still get a good score. And its not a complete solution its the base of a idea, since the actual ranking system is not really relevant.
