Hey this is kind of a nooby question but this is something I've always struggled with. Should I always be playing with my camera unlocked that way I have more control of over what I'm looking at or should I play with a combination of both locked and unlocked camera for example unlocking to land a long ranged skill shot then locking it back on my champ or should I practice playing unlocked all the time? Any tips are very appreciated! Thanks
locked camera is for people who have the mouse-skills of a five-year-old and are fine with that unlocked camera is for everyone above 5
PS: the game is USK12 so i wonder why they even have locked cam
I think a mix of both is definitely the way to go.i honestly stay locked until I am going to tele or need to see something out of my screen range.
Though it does boil down to personal preference, you should have a mix of both. I run locked until I'm scanning the map for details that the mini cant give me and to be a look out for my teammates, this incresses when I jungle, I'm locked during camps and going to ganks only.
I tend to play with an unlocked screen, but if you hold the space bar it will center over your character, so you can kind of hybrid use the camera locks on the fly.
I myself play with a mostly locked camera because I have trouble dodging skill shots when my camera isn't centered on myself. Could be because my multi-tasking ability is awful, but it's just how I prefer. I have my spacebar bound to unlock and relock the camera so if I'm trying to land a long range skill shot like an ashe arrow or bard ult, I unlock it with spacebar and pan it to where need be, but then relock immediately after it lands.
That's just how I play, but I'm around silver/gold level ish apparently based on the people I get paired with (don't play ranked) so take my advice with a grain of salt.
