Talon's Q (Noxian Diplomacy) should be applied to his passive? Yes or No?

His Q applying to his passive would be better for him. I would make it so he wouldn't have to always AA before using Q. His AA just takes time away, which he needs to be able to burst his target and run away.

what are you even saying?

I'm asking if Talon's Q should be applied to his passive considering doing an AA would be inefficient with the rest of his kit.

He doesn't want to AA to be able to increased damage when playing Talon. Not a fan since its an opening for retaliation, and would be like a Katarina not having to press W for her Twirl.

Fitting AAs into combos is a huge part of being a good AD assassin - as is represented by Riven's passive, Talon's passive, Zed's passive... see a pattern? Learn to auto.

I can auto, but it doesn't work that well with his specific kit.

It doesn't work well with Zed's either, but yet it's necessary for the utmost damage potential. We'd all like to R/W/Q/E/R as Zed and call it a day, however that isn't possible while still trying to 100-0 a target.

You simply can't, you end up having to R/W/Q/AA/item 3074/AA off reset/E/AA/R - which is a totally basic combo using the shadow Q to slow rather than Bork active as I opt for Hydra on Zed, provides more damage.

Well, a Talon combo that includes an AA is:

E -> AA -> Q -> W -> Tiamat/Hydra -> RR

This combo is good, but when I E, they walk or run away too fast for me to AA and it ruins the whole combo.

Actually you should be looking at e/q/w/aa/hydra/aa/r/r if you want to hit that augmented AA every time. just Q before you W, run up and AA/hydra/AA, R/R.

But you lose the damage amp on his E which is really needed to make his burst work properly.

Are you asking if his Q should apply the 10% damage increase, or if his DoT should apply his passive's effect (that is, increase damage dealt by basic attacks)?

I'm definitely in favor of the second one, don't know if the first one would actually make a difference for him.

The first one is what I am getting at.

Increasing his Q damage by 4/8/12/16/20 +13% bonus AD doesn't seem like it would have near as much of a power-boosting effect as would making his Q increase his basic attack damage by 10% for 6 seconds.
