bug with Xin zhao Q after completing stated devourer

Today, i've played a number of games with xin zhao, and i realized a problem or perhads a bug with xin zhao's q, as most people know xin zhao's Q deal bonus damage for the next third AA and on the third attack it knocks the enemy champion up, however when i play xin zhao jungle today, before i completed the stated devourer, my Q was perfectly fine, but when i completed the stated devourer i started to see that everytime i use my Q the bonus damage only applies on 2 AA instead of 3, and is knocks the enemy up after the second strike too instead of the third, im not sure if this is intended or a bug, but i do hope u guys can help me answear this question or if u had similar problem.

cause sated procs on hits twice every other attack so it did two q's at once

It is intended, but most of the times I would think its not wanted. It means you're getting your CC off earlier, you still get the 3 second reduction on all abilities, but you miss out on about 100-150 damage late game.

Becuase Sated Devourer works every 2nd attack. So basically, if you attack without it about to buff it, it procs the first damage, then the second procs both others for the knockup. If you start your Q with your Sated Devourer ready to double on-hit then it will use both the first two damage buffs, then the third will use the last and knock them up.

his Q is an on-hit effect. If perchance you had read how the item worked you would know every 2 hits it applies on-hits twice, meaning things that normally take 3 attacks to trigger (like Xin's heal and Q knockup or Vayne's silver bolts) trigger in only 2 with the item.

No bugs here, just an unobservant user.
