Support is still the least picked position

So I keep hearing that top was surpassing support as the least desired position. Keep in mind that I'm just talking about Bronze-Silver ELO. I queue fill EVERY game. That means that the game will most frequently place me into the role that is less frequently filled. In the past I was getting support 80% of the time or more. Lately I've been getting support 40-60% of the time but it is still the most frequent position for me. Additionally I have been getting top and mid with far less frequency than the other 3 positions.

I just wanted to debunk any claims that a.) support is no longer the least desired position b.) top is becoming less desired than jg/bot (mid has always and will probably always be the most desired role)

again I am just speaking about bronze and silver ELO on the NA server. Granted your experience may differ but this is not only my experience for hundreds of games but probably thousands of games between me and friends of mine. I know it's a relatively small sample size, however, since they don't actually publish these kinds of facts server wide then I think it's a large enough sample size especially since the numbers aren't really that close. I mean support is BY FAR the least picked and top is not even in the bottom 3 positions selected.

edit:// this most likely covers gold elo also as many of my friends are gold but since I haven't really obtained good statistics from them only their feelings I'll just say Bronze and Silver.

Top lane being the least desired role was from early on in the season and league of graphs backed up those claims. That being said, role distribution changed a lot throughout the season so top lane is no longer the least desired role (it is tied for most popular with mid in bronze na and just slightly behind mid in bronze globally).

Also, you don't have to go by anyone's experience, league of graphs gives the most popular and least popular roles based off of servers and elo range.

Riot wont give any statistics about role distribution, but as far as top 100 goes, top and jungle are the most popular roles, followed by mid and support at dead last. In korea, support is tied to last with top.

Numbers wise, they are equal, but junglers greatly outnumber other roles in the NA ladder

Personally, I think the roles are very even for low-elos but only barely higher for mid (Judging by the amount of times I didn't get mid as primary)
