Madstone is far too abusable and i think most players can agree that it is not intentional. it is probably a simple fix, just make it so that you can only buy one item that builds out of hunters machete, this should stop champions like udyr from abusing it at lower elos.

Knight SoIaire 1 votesinsane objective control + it does not stop you from ganking, its a cheap 100% gain combo of items, ganks occur only if there is granted a possibility for them to occur, udyr who has always 100% hp and mana in the jungle can easily unload on anything he finds to abuse his rather high base stats , he is not forced to back, he deals insane dmg to monsters which allows his to easily take dragons, buffs, and makes himself deal good dmg (or main damage) in late game while still being the main tank
the only thing that keeps udyr ballanced is the fact that 90% of udyrs is copying madstone incorrectly, they think that they can make a solo penta by camping their jungle which was the only reason for feral flare nerf (it allowed to carry without ganking)

no you dont fall behind, you just dont have what you dont buy, he could go fulll tank and his damage wont fall off because he didnt buy it, that statement is wrong because you could say that nautilus's damage falls off cause he builds tank, damage fallof means that your base damage and scaling are lower compared to other champions at the same level and of the same class in late game, if udyr would buy dmg he would have very good dmg still its not important for the topic so ignore it
i actualy went 100% bold in couple of last games (normals)
it actualy turned out that udyr with madstone (razor or lantern) is **unable to trade with anyone **till like 10 lvl assuming you punish him hard (vi vs udyr= udyr at 30% hp runin away while vi still has 80% of hers)
another thing is those bastard udyrs are so cocky, and all they ride is hype about udyr being undefeatable 1v1 while its opposite, they can barely hurt anyone and they play agressively cause they dont even know their early trading, its all just a myth that gives them an edge and makes fearfull based on a false statement (because what an idiot would counterjungle an udyr)
udyr in s3 was insane but now as other junglers go damage and scale better with jungle items and stuff, he got kinda busted with his good base numbers, others just make for it or rather overcome it with scalings
i need to test this more but I could literaly whack floor with the poor guy which is actualy the first possible counterplay to him, and by counterplay i mean denying him the capability to be of use for his team, you can do it with every champ but i never saw it to happen to udyr, and counterplay is not kiting, if udyr is suspectble to it it means that he will either have something to overome it (ms steroid) or something to compensate for it (good numbers) riot cant make a champ that does not work vs anything that is ranged for entire game cause it makes no sence
#So back to the topic. madstone is not abusable, its just new and ppl dont know what hurts the guy who uses it, it offers great sustain vs jungle monsters (fors stacking the flare) but omplete 0 vs champs, pick a good duelist and go ham
