Judging by that champs pick rate, you do realize he is only being played by mains?

If you get hit by his q, try getting a teammate to block his next one (if you cant trust yourself to dodge a line skillshot), he is relatively useless if he cannot continue to stack on his intended target.

As an immobile melee he has trouble actually snowballing since hes reliant on landing his q multiple times in a row to catch people.

His combo is relatively slow, your teammates have plenty of time to stop him from locking you down.

Remember, in groupfights his main goal is to make someone on the other team more useless than he is, by preventing an assassination attempt/peeling or by hunting down / bullying a high priority target and stopping them from participating.

So basically... beat him by killing his team, you don't have to allocate much cc into stopping him from killing yours faster than you can kill his.

yes, his early game feels very strong.

His W is about worthless now.
