Why doesn't Fiora's passive change direction?

If Fiora's passive finds a vital point on an enemy champion, how come it doesn't change direction if the enemy champion turns. For example, if the marker appears at the front of the enemy, and the enemy then faces away, wouldn't the vital be in the same place i.e. the front?

Fioras would never be able to hit a vital point with how fast character models can rotate.

League doesn't have turn rates. This would make her passive useless.
