Bit of low scaling ad for mages
how about giving certain below avarage mages scalings with 1-75% bonus ad scaling on spells?

Why? Giving a bonus AD scaling to champs that don't build AD isn't a buff.
Well granted if it's a Base AD scaling then ya technically it is. Still though, if they need a damage buff why don't you just increase an ability's Base damage... or you know... make it scale a bit better with regular old AP?
Yeah, I completely agree, I don't see the point of this thread. But I'd rather assume I'm missing something than be condescending from the get go.
(And OP explicitly said "bonus" AD.)
i mean many ad champions have ap scalings and a weak option for going ap is avaiable for them. With many of the buffs, the natural talent mastery, (and for some people ad runes which they put in to help with last hits and early game harass) mages accumulate a certain amount of usuless bonus ad, which they can't utilise late game. The idea of giving ap champ SPELLs a low amount of bonus %ad is just an utility boost, like the reverse of Nocturne and Shyvana buffs. Not too usefull or gamechanging, just give some colors.
Well, a lot of players did complain about Shyv and Noct AP buffs being useless, but at least there was some logical basis to it. A large part of the Attack Speed itemization (and AS is Shyv/Noct primary offensive stat) is centered around AP/magic damage, Wit's End and Guinsoo and Nashor's.
The "useless bonus AD" that mages get randomly is truly negligible, especially if you give them "low amount" of scalings. I'm still not convinced. Either those champs need a real buff, and a bigger base value/AP ratio is more appropriate, or they don't need a buff, and your suggestion will only complicate things without providing anything useful.
Natural Talent caps out at +10 AD +15 AP. Even with 100% Bonus AD scaling, it's a meager 10 damage more, less after resistances.
Adding Bonus AD Scaling also has the potential to create some really wonky builds when (not if) people decide to try a full AD version of the mage. Then you start to get into situations where a mage has to be balanced around an AD build, or has a weird interaction (such as Crit Viktor use to have with his Q)... it's not worth it.
Why not just AP ratio buffs like what they did with Syndra...
