What are your thoughts of her in the current season? Is she weak, balanced, or secretly overpowered?

0/12/18, Taking grasp of the undying, and the mana regeneration mastery from the cunning tree (You'll need it, trust me)
Runes are pretty standard AD/Armor(or HP)/MR for me, I don't even bother with Attack speed runes on Illaoi because her base attack speed is so fucking abysmal.
Items I like on her depend on how well I do in lane, if I'm winning super hard I like to go Cleaver first, into Steraks, into tank items. If I'm not really killing my lane opponent or I'm outright losing, I like to go into Iceborn Guantlet first, since it gives me beautiful 20 CDR, a reliable CC in the form of IBG's version of spellblade, a fuck ton of mana to spend on whacking people with tentacles, and armor
Weak. She has too much counterplay and not enough usefulness in teamfights.
I feel like she's between weak and balanced atm. She's good during laning phase, but weak when she leaves lane. Too much counterplay is the real reason she's not played a lot IMO.
She's pretty balanced but unhealthy at the moment. Not much engage if you don't walk up to her or something, but she can stop you from teamfighting simply because her ult will destroy your team. Same with lane, she's oppressive but not unless you try to fight but she can stop you from farming well.
I think she's on the weaker side of things balance-wise, but she's strong if you let her do her thing. Sort of the same spot Sion is in currently.
But she's incredibly frustrating to lane against because her E is several flavors of BS. Not only is it a pain to deal with when she hits it, and a second wave of frustration if/when you become a vessel, but it's also very spammable and she's not penalized much for missing it. Especially after her recent changes where it doesn't root her if it misses, and it's mana cost went down.
I would be all for some Illaoi buffs, but only if that E is toned down to be less annoying.
