Quick question about the Project Orbs and skin shard

Does the project skin shard guarntee 1 project and the orb only gives you a chance? Sorry if it sounds stupiud to ask this

The orb gives any skin, I believe. After reading the explanations, I didn't see any evidence at all that the orbs give project skins exclusively. It's similar to the worlds orbs, where they'll give you any skin at random, I think.

the project skin shard drops any of the past project skins guaranteed, not including any of the Hunters (Projects Jhin, Vayne & Vi). that's why it costs more, you're only gambling between the 9 previously released Project skins, 2 of which are notably Legendary skins.

the project skin orb is the same as any orb in any event and drops any skin shard, even legacy. it's basically a no-key chest that can't drop champ shards.

This is silly though, If I own all but 1 of the previous project skins and I purchase the project skin shard, I think, Much like re-rolling skin shards, it should give you a shard from the ones you don't already own. I bought 4 and got 4 skins I own, despite the fact I don't own them all and this is super lame, at least an increased chance to get one I don't already own would be nice. P.S. Basically I bought rp so I could buy blue essence.... yay?
