This is a new acct I went 9-1 in placements and placed into bronze 5... pls explain =[ what was the point of doing placements

I went 5-5 in placements and got placed in bronze 5. Something is definitely wrong with placement ranks.

Why is everyone below plat under the impression that it calculates win/loss for your placements?

If you get placed into bronze it's because you have bronze gameplay and mechanics.

Everything comes into play, Ward coverage/kills, Neutral objective control, Turrets/Inhibs/rotation, KDA in your selected role the list goes on.

I've seen a pro streamer lose 7 out of his 10 placement games and get placed into gold 1.

I guess you didn't see the opgg, or read that this is a fresh fucking account? theres something wrong with flex queue when golds are playing with challenge players and masters players are bitching on stream about playing with bronze players.

Dude pro players , WildTurtle and expecial were placed in silver ....challenger to silver ... there mechics :/ got them there ... bull shit

I did the original placements and went 7-3 and was put into silver 3.. ok thats fine. THEN, riot says oh you need to do one more placement to get placed again bc of something they changed. so i do. i win. this makes me 8-3... bronze 5.... WTF!?!?!

Went 4-6 and got Bronze IV. Lost another game and moved up to Bronze II. This system makes no sense

So i am not the only one who was placed in low elo. Last season i was plat 5 and after the first placements in flex i was G4 with 6-4 and now with 4-6 i was placed in B1... strange...
