Jhin it's harder to use and all skill based

Caitlyn Rely on her long range AA

Imo jhin fits better the sniper play style

If you're looking for a true sniper experience, you'll probably like Jhin more.

Jhin is more like a sniper than Caitlyn. He's all about bursting key targets down.

Caitlyn feels more like a trapper/hunter now, Safari skin captures her feel more than anything else. Tracking and trapping big game and delivering shot after shot until it falls.

Both do lots of damage from far range roughly equally.

Caitlyn's long-ranged damage is just predominantly 650 AA based, where Jhin's is predominantly QWER based. It's an issue of auto-attacker vs. AD Caster. Jhin tends to capture the feel of an FPS sniper better, seeing as his shots are more methodical, long-reaching, and less frequent.

Caitlyn has a lot more tools that are more useful on the fly, and her auto-lock ultimate also falls into a weird kind of "show don't tell" storytelling about her where Caitlyn takes over the player's ability to aim to be a character that 'never' misses rather than allowing the player to fullfill the fantasy of being a great shot by aiming themselves.

Jhin.

Less shooting, more range in general.
