The next step for Riot Games...

I know it would be a huge risk, and a huge effort beyond that, however I think the reward could be amazingly great. Just as the MOBA and RTS days of Warcraft, LoL has such an ability to extrapolate the game further. Personally when I first imagined the possible spin-off, or growth of the title, I first thought of something similar to Overwatch. Though, I feel that a new MMORPG would be heavily benefited by the nearing death of Blizzard's goliath scene. Not only do I think it would succeed, but it would flourish to such an extreme that you wouldn't be able to comprehend the growth in it's early stages. Blizzard had such a tiny base of RTS and MOBA players, whereas you have SO many more. I believe in Runeterra becoming the next Azeroth. You have everything Blizzard had and more. Nothing I would love more than to build an "Other" or "In-between" race and I think you guys could do it. While still basing many of the abilities and strategies within the PvP system. I am seeing this from a perspective I really wish you would consider. Honestly, I could be an asset if you do decide to expand, as I am an idea machine. Being the type of person that sits in between the structured competitive player, and the nonchalant casual gamer, makes my perspective damn near ideal for not only capital, but gentle synergy in a spectrum based consumer pool. This is not only my dream, but before long everyone would be wondering why they didn't think of it first. Blizzard hardly get's seen as a profiteer, and they have earned the market's largest badge of respect, while still maintaining some of the highest revenue in the world. I am not asking you to copy them. To the contrary, I want something newer and vastly more improved. I have dreamt of this MMORPG of the future, and it is glorious. I only wish there was someone who wanted my ideas. As I struggle to make my own, I do my best to share my insight with companies which content I find has potential and further enjoyment.

I would like to see them do an mmo or even an rpg with a multiplayer component. it would be difficult, as there are so many races and factions around Runeterra that it would be hard to figure out how the player could make a character?

They could go the route of allowing players to choose which city-state they want to start out at (ie shurima, Demacia, the Freljord, etc) and be able to pick any race of character they want. But would demacian players be allowed in noxis? Would noxians be allowed in ionia? Or would the game disregard which faction you started out in and allow you to go anywhere?

Even though I love mmorpgs and would also love to see one for League, I highly doubt that would happen and would require a lot to do. As some one who is studying programming right now and wanting to get into game development, the amount of effort would be to high especially with the cost as well. Also how would they make the game? Would classes in the game be each individual champion we have, and the abilities would be like their League abilities? If so then that would be a lot to do for 140 champions. Also would it be action combat like Tera, or tab target etc...

Now...I can see a Dynasty Warriors type of game possible and even some what doable with each character. Just have each champion as a character and you run around trying to capture a base and destroy towers while killing hundreds of minions and enemy officer (champions). I mean it's not to different if you think about it, and many games have created a Dynasty Warriors type of game.

Though I do agree, I would love a mmorpg of League but that just really doesn't seem like it'll happen with the amount of effort and money it'll take out to do it. Which could of been used to improve league.

They could name it Runeterra and basically make it a chicken or egg of League. Using races that are already in the game, and extrapolating it from there. In the "egg" version it could be before the League of Legends rise, and the "chicken" version could be the aftermath of the fall of the league, which could add way more content as well as adding to races or subtracting others. You would probably have to make the magical creatures like Fiddlesticks and whatnot into bosses or general enemies. You probably couldn't have a race of randomly generated magical mishaps. Heh... But the main thing is, you have a basis for a story within content you already own, and you can extrapolate with what you already have because it has been around for so long and there must be a stockpile of ideas just waiting to be made into a top 100 list.
