As a jungle/Mid main, I hate and sincerely feel concern for bot lane as it is right now.

I've been playing League of Legends since the last month or two of Season 1. I've watched bot lane go from being an extremely aggressive lane filled with very touchy carries that can snowball like crazy off of one good decision, to being every lanes bitch basically all game long. A lot of things hurt bot lane; from vision being globally weaker than it used to be. Pink wards no longer being stealth means that Steath junglers get in free, and even having vision out can mean very little since pinks can be destroyed and Green's can be disabled and walked through without having to kill them. ADC nerfs left and right in previous seasons, QSS being nerfed so that they can't remove Deathmark. But the icing on the cake, the final nail in the coffin, was making Dragon so massively important.

If for any reason the first dragon to spawn is Infernal or Ocean, bot lane becomes the primary focus for the entire game. Bot lane has become a lane where if you even sneeze imporperly, you're getting 5 manned. The first 15 minutes of an ADCs life is a constant exercise in 50/50 coin flips with warding timing and early recalls. To be honest? Sometimes I don't care if it isn't those two dragons. I just want the dragons.

I mentally make a decision every game to suffocate bot lane as heavily as I can, and there is very little that an ADC/Support combo can do about it. I walk through wards, I gank from behind tower, I make sure my duo-buddy TP's when dragon is relevant. I make that lane complete hell for them every opportunity I get. That has to be an extremely frustrating experience for bot lane specialists and I sincerely believe Riot needs to make a change. Anyone care to share an opinion on that?

Yes I am an ADC main. And I may be only be a Silver player but we all know that what effects one rank effects all ranks and bot has been getting way too much attention. From each and every ADC being nerfed to the towers being weaker and Dragons becoming more stronger it has been months of me fearing 4-5 men/women coming down bot and then just ruining the entire game for me. And you can be sure that once you get that 4-5 men coming at you once they will come at you again and tower isn't strong enough to defend you too. Bot lane has been on the bad end of objectives and it's kinda frustrating that once a peaceful lane has become a fear driven place.

Most important thing is my support friends all say one thing "Why do you play more Passive now?"

i notice the opposite really. as the mid laner i usually get the most focus. in the first 10minutes i get at least 4 ganks in their favor and then after 15mins its never just the enemy laner anymore forcing me to stick and never leave into just managing the wave. (while my team makes no efforts anywhere else).

there is never an absent mid lane, someone is always pushing it for them even if its not the mid laner forcing me to stick there or give up a tower.

i do recognize bot lane as the most intensive in terms of laning, it has the easiest time becoming a 5v2 and being high all in action. but the majority of the time its just one side is losing and one side is snowballing off of it, its rarely an even match bot.

As a jungle/support main I agree.

it be lìke that9/30/2016, 10:55:36 PM1 votes

you also left out that bottom tower doesnt get the extra armor the other tier 1's do.

all in the bot lane with jungler/mid, take the tower in around 15 seconds at minute 10ish
