As a jungle/Mid main, I hate and sincerely feel concern for bot lane as it is right now.
I've been playing League of Legends since the last month or two of Season 1. I've watched bot lane go from being an extremely aggressive lane filled with very touchy carries that can snowball like crazy off of one good decision, to being every lanes bitch basically all game long. A lot of things hurt bot lane; from vision being globally weaker than it used to be. Pink wards no longer being stealth means that Steath junglers get in free, and even having vision out can mean very little since pinks can be destroyed and Green's can be disabled and walked through without having to kill them. ADC nerfs left and right in previous seasons, QSS being nerfed so that they can't remove Deathmark. But the icing on the cake, the final nail in the coffin, was making Dragon so massively important.
If for any reason the first dragon to spawn is Infernal or Ocean, bot lane becomes the primary focus for the entire game. Bot lane has become a lane where if you even sneeze imporperly, you're getting 5 manned. The first 15 minutes of an ADCs life is a constant exercise in 50/50 coin flips with warding timing and early recalls. To be honest? Sometimes I don't care if it isn't those two dragons. I just want the dragons.
I mentally make a decision every game to suffocate bot lane as heavily as I can, and there is very little that an ADC/Support combo can do about it. I walk through wards, I gank from behind tower, I make sure my duo-buddy TP's when dragon is relevant. I make that lane complete hell for them every opportunity I get. That has to be an extremely frustrating experience for bot lane specialists and I sincerely believe Riot needs to make a change. Anyone care to share an opinion on that?
