Why is Darius' Q uninterruptible?

For an attack that does so much damage in such a big area (against most other top laners) and that heals, why is it uninterruptible? Why doesn't using a stun stop it?

because its a telegrapghed ability that you can dodge.

i mean apparantly not you, but in general.

That argument doesn’t work for Ezreal ultimate. So why does it for darius’s Basic ability nuke?

its a channel, but for some reason you can still only interrupt the cast by killing ezreal. it doesnt get interrupted by ccing him during the animation.

stop lying out of your ass. every time i see you making a post, its some sort of loaded question, or on an entirely false basis, or youre just straight up spreading misinformation.

like i make mistakes too now and then, but either youre a complete idiot, or youre doing this on purpose. because youre doing it every single time.

You can’t interrupt Darius q either once it’s cast it’s happening. Soooo you’ve entirely avoided the question. :/. But whatever. You always do.

Because everyone with 2 IQ can either step out of it, or into it and outtrade him. Lol.

It's because of the inner blade mechanic, which lets you avoid almost all the damage by getting close to him. If it wasn't there the q would probably be interruptable. Also, it's pretty much his only waveclear, so he burns it to push the wave.

Because don’t you know? All champions that are bruisers are all perfect in every way. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Because if it was able to be interrupted the ability (or other parts of his kit) would have to be buffed by a huge amount making him more frustrating to play against for champs without much CC.

It's telegraphed, darius is immobile and easily out traded by someone with good mechanics, especially champs with multiple dashes, or low CD dashes, who have high dps or burst. Darius's only three strengths are damage output (which is delayed significantly due to much of his damage being locked behind his blood stacking, and unless he has super high ad, his Q is hardly a nuke at all, in fact it's just medium damage at best) sustain, which is decent to great depending how many champs he hits and how often (however, it's not as versatile as champs like aatrox who can heal off all damage dealt, including against minion waves. It also depends on landing his slow Q, which has a wide area, but relatively low overall range, which means against mages, mobile/semimobile burst fighters who have cc and or range (riven, aatrox) or mobile adcs have a good time kiting his q but running inside or outside of the blade range), and a decent CC pull that can mostly only be used for initiating a fight, reengaging, or peeling carries (can on occasion save darius if used properly when escaping a gank, etc).

That being said, darius has zero mobility in kit, so he has no escapes, he has low frontloaded burst compared to most burst champs, slow attack speed, no innate survivability tools, low range, has little utility for the rest of his team besides pull, is only a mediocre split pusher, gets massively outscaled by many top lane champs (think jax, tryn, gnar, most tank's teamfight utility, etc), isn't even top 5 lane bullies (renekton, morde, jayce, aatrox, vayne (filthy anytime someone takes her top), etc).

If anything, darius's kit is only becoming more and more obsolete with every new champ release and rework, and even his high stat and healing buffs barely keep him treading water. If his Q was interruptable, he would probably drop to a 30-40% winrate, because darius has almost no ability to gap close, escape, or dodge enemy spells which means: he would die far more often from not getting any heals off due to being stunlocked by abilities he has no chance of dodging and he would get far fewer kills from not being able to stack in optimal fashion, considering he generally only gets one or two chances/means of stacking in many teamfights (and many team comps where he is completely useless regardless).

Darius has been trying to learn how to spin like Garen for a while, just check out his joke. Unfortunately for him, all he can reliably manage is one spin, but he did manage to nail the uninteruptible aspect of the skill, just like Garen.
