if daisy only gets one knockup, tibbers is much much stronger. if she gets a couple of them, then theyre about even.

i dont know if they changed it, but on the pbe she did actually benefit from attack speed buffs. which is pretty huge if utilized well.

From a surface perspective, they're both very similar as ultimate-summoned minions, but ultimately they play differently and have very different uses. Tibbers is part-nuke, part-DPS machine, part revenge-bear, whereas Daisy isn't really that great a damage dealer, and is mostly there to knock people up and serve as a guaranteed ally for Ivern's support kit. Annie's use of Tibbers is mostly constrained to whoever she wants to kill as part of her rotation, whereas Daisy is more situational, and can be used both to set up kills and peel for allies.

Tbh, I think there's probably even more space for minions as ultimates, and we have far more than just two of them already: Yorick's ult is its own, very special version of a summoned minion, Heimerdinger's RQ is on a similar power level, and to a certain extent even Shaco's clone kinda works mostly as an extra minion too, as does Morde's ghost. If you want to stretch it a little, Illaoi's ult is also about summoning lots of tentacle minions to aid her in combat. I think it all boils down to what the champion does with their minions and how they do it, and in practice Daisy and Tibbers are going to end up with different enough gameplay to come out as distinct ults.

daisy is cute. tibbers is repulsive.
