Ahri's Garbage W

I've been playing League for almost 2 years and as a mastery 7 Ahri main, I think I can talk on the subject of one of my longest running favorite champs. Her kit is great for the most part, I high mobility ult to dash around mess fools up, a solid Q that does true damage, and the infamous charm, seen only by with his ult. However her W feels very lack luster and does not fit with the rest of her kit. It's a close range ability that doesn't do much damage. The staple E-Q combo does plenty of damage and procs Thunderlord's making it not useful.

A better use of the ability would be a line skill-shot ability that does low damage but makes Ahri's damage for the next 2-4 seconds increased by 5-15%. This fits with her assassin kit and helps her to do.

I don't get how it doesn't fit her kit. It's basically her ult without the mobility. She poops out fox fires which is what apparently foxes do

What you are suggesting is Ahri's Old Charm.

It amped her damage by 20%.

As much as I love my ahri, there is a reason they removed it.

Doesn't her charm already apply the damage increase?

I'm not bashing the idea, I think it's cool, just curious about that.

What if the w worked on an ammo system and she could cast it to send a skillshot out? Maybe they could even move the movement speed off of Q and onto this working only if it hits? I imagine this could also help balance out the safety issues everyone seemed so upset about just the other week.

She had a damage amp in her kit and riot got rid of it. I think that was the last time she was considered bad because if you didn't hit the charm and use a DFG, you couldn't do your job. People hated playing against it because she had a big damage multiplier with the two effects.
