He's not entirely wrong. I've been seeing a lot more ganks bot lately. It's irritating for the match to be decided by which jungler ganks bot earlier/more often.

what else would happen with the old crit items back, ADC back to critting for thousands in mere seconds by right clicking come late game.

if you want to see what a late game ADC is like go play arurf, come mid/late game they will destroy you in a second if not under a second with hail of blades
