Gain Less LP?

Hi everyone! This is my first board post, I tried looking around and I couldn't find an answer or the post was really old. My question is how come I am gaining less LP and losing more even when I have more wins than I have losses? Isn't the system made so that if you win more you'll gain more LP and if you lose more you lose more? I'm confused as that is not the case I'm having, I usually gain 19lp compared to losing 21lp. My wins/losses right now is 154/140. Is it because I'm nearing the Silver I division? Thanks for all the feedback :)

you will get less lp the more you win because rito logic.

The higher skill level (higher MMR) your opponents have the more LP you get from beating them and you lose less when they beat you. So you are probably losing to people with a lower MMR than you. Meaning you are losing more LP then you earn.

MMR = Match Making Rank (skill Level)
