Can no longer buy runes.

I believe that I have reached the maximum number of runes that I can own. I wasn't aware that there was a hard cap. About a month ago riot released tier 2 runes for 1 IP and I bought them all just so they wouldn't show up in the list. Now I can't buy more runes and I really want to. I don't think there is a way to actually destroy the runes anymore. Is there anything I can do or can I just not ever buy any of the remaining 18 rune types that are left? Seems like a really bad limitation in the programming.

Try submitting a ticket to support and kindly explain what happened. Hopefully they'll understand and take the runes off your account for you. In the future, though, you can just filter in the store to see only T3 runes...

This worked. Thanks. To be fair I do know about the filter but I'm a completionist at heart (hence, I want to own all of the T3 runes) and I just sort of.. wanted them. Anywho, thanks!

Seems like a really bad limitation in the programming.

I agree, I should have read it. That being said, 720 is just a really random cap. tinyint is 255, smallint is 32K+.

Same thing happened to me, though this was like last season, just bought them for like a completionist thing, but I didn't have all the tier 3 yet, so I couldn't buy anymore until I sent a support ticket, didn't get the IP back but at least I can buy runes again.
