Please For the Love of God Change Skarner and Shen Back To What They Were Before Their Reworks

No offense to you Riot, but as an Ex Skarner and Shen Main (before you reworked/ruined them) the new reworks on them are absolute crap. I say again, no offense, you made them really bad and almost unusable champions.

Skarner: You guys took his Q passive when it hits a target and made it a global Dominion Game, what's the point in that? You made it to where he actually has to build health to make his shield actually worth something, when it was perfect the way it was. Not to mention increased the cooldowns on every single one of his abilities while lowering the damage on every single one of them as well. Making him AD based, and lowering his overall base tankiness as well. I loved the Skarner before the rework, because it was useable and actually overpowered in a way and the way I played him, no matter what other people say Riot, those people just didn't know how to play him correctly.

Shen: Yay you gave him some really strong auto attacks but a worthless Passive compared to the old one, Ki Strike. He has no poke anymore, which completely screws Shen, you guys took the main thing that made Shen who he is. He can no longer go all in level 3 duel against literally any champion. He did way more damage to be honest with his Ki Strike and his Q before rework, now he can just chunk a little bit but then has to run away because he has no sustain from his old Q. His new Passive is almost worthless when in a fight, and the new W is alright, but took away his shield that made him a great dueler, because the new W only blocks Auto Attacks, which is worthless when facing someone like Riven, Rumble, Malphite, Teemo, Nasus, Cho Gath, and many others. He's still Shen, so he can still be really tanky and such, but he's nothing like what he was.

I loved the Pre-Rework Skarner and Shen, and so did many of my friends, (and I usually end up maining my friends mains,) and no matter what anybody else says, they were not worthless and did not need a rework at all, please Riot, do all Skarner players and Shen players a favor and change them back to exactly the way they were before you reworked them, because yet again no offense, but you made them near worthless and nobody even plays them anymore because of the crappy reworks.

Skarner mostly, because the New Shen is actually somewhat useable. While the new Skarner is complete and total crap.

Can't say anything about Skarner, but Shen is really good right now. The reworked him with the expressed intention of removing his poke patterns, making it that if he wants to fight someone, he has to actually fight them.

And that fact that you call his passive useless in a fight shows you just don't want to play him because he isn't as easy anymore

The way I played the old Shen, was I only poked for the first few levels, but once I hit level 3 or 4, I went all in, no matter who I was facing, auto attacking with Q for heal over time, and rek face, because since I was Shen, nobody countered me if I played like that. A lot of people would rely entirely on Poke and didn't play aggressive at all, and therefore get reked later on, but since I played aggressive like that, I was unstoppable the entire game, no matter how long that game lasted, and I would build zero damage items, except Sunfire Cape if you want to count that. Just tank.

Now it's super easy to counter the new Shen, especially with the people I play, like Pantheon, Jayce, Cho'Gath, Volibear, Trundle, (Taric top actually craps on new Shen, even when building full Armor and no MR,) Renekton (whom Shen used to counter hard now craps on his chest pretty easily.)

So just because other people don't know how to actually "get in the fight," doesn't mean they have to change the champion almost entirely and make them 1v1 oriented instead of tanky and actually useable in team fights. I mean yes, his new W actually can help his team, but in order to do that, he has to be in the back instead of being a front liner (like Shen actually is) in order to make use of his W for his team, and he has to call his Q to them to do that first, ditching his Q for damage just in order to dodge a few attacks. Old Shen was way better for Teamfights, being able to heal all his teammates over time with his Q, healing himself as well, and being an insane front liner.

Shen rework is great, only thing that would be better is if you could place W where ever you wanted to in a 600 radius.

Idk about skarner either, but skarner seems to be strong atm.

I have loved Skarner since his release. I will say that he isn't weak per say, but its harder to get him to where he feels strong, and less satisfying once you get there. He may benefit from some tweaks. Like lower his Ult cool down from 120/100/80 to 120/90/60. Increasing his E stun and attached effects to like, 1.25 seconds. Minor stuff but it would add up. Though I kind of am not sure if simple adjustments can make up for the fact that his ult makes him hard to balance and his spires sort of didn't wear well.

They essentially slapped Shen's W on his passive (and made it better), his passive on his Q (in the sense that it's a damage-oriented basic attack buff) and swapped his Q for this new dodge thing.

I'm still salty about skarner. I got level 5 on him, then they reworked him and I hated it.

Same man, he was the first champion I got to Mastery Level 5, and then they re-worked him to this worthless, blasphemous, shameful, Dominion playing crap.

Talk to yourself. I am an Ex Shen main and I main the new Shen. Shen is in a good state right now. He is totally viable in every elo and I am glad the meta dont make him OP so he isnt perma ban/pick. This way I can enjoy playing my Shenpai. Just forget about the old Shen and see his potential now and you'll notice he isnt worst at all... I used to hate the new Shen but I felt in love with his new kit.

I dont know about skarner tho.

I like the idea of the current Skarner, and I think bringing a trait of Dominion into SR, with the premiere Crystal Scar champion, is pretty clever.

That said, it isn't perfect. They said Skarner was supposed to be a Juggernaut - slow, tanky, and kitable, but deals fucktons of damage in close range. Skarner is slow, tanky, and kitable, but missing out on the fucktons of damage department. Unless he's by his spires, he can't duel like he used to.

They tried to make it a bit better with is E and R giving him his Spire passive, but it isn't enough. His Q does too little damage. His W breaks really easily. His E, while cool, doesn't have the same 'catch out effect' as, say, Darius' pull or Elise's cocoon.

He needs work. But I think their ideas were okay.

I don't have as big of a problem with the new Shen as I do for the new Skarner. They literally screwed Skarner so much. Just because other people complained to Riot that Old Skarner sucked and needed a rework. Those people who complained all of the time just didn't know how to play him. All you had to do was run a little Mana Regen runes, a little Armor runes, and the rest as all out Attack Speed Runes. Then all you built was a Iceborn Gauntlets and any boots you actually needed for the current match up, then straight Armor/Tank items (Usually Cinderhulk, Iceborn Gauntlets, Randuins Omen, Frozen Heart, Thornmail, and boots or something that seems good for the current match up, usually like a Banshees Veil or something.) You barely needed to build MR, just because of your W Shield and your Speed, (not to mention the attack speed from your runes and the Cooldown Reduction you have from the build, so you can stun them with your passive quite quickly, and yet still be super tanky, with the slow and a lot of damage from Iceborn Gauntlets.)....... Everyone that complained, always built stupid like Tri-Force and Wit's End and BT and other stuff, (usually damage items) that were completely useless on Old Skarner, and stupid to build anyways..... I'm just mad because stupid people ruined a perfectly freaking awesome and balanced champion. Nowadays on new Skarner, everyone builds Devourer and Warrior, and focus on damage on him, because his entire kit lacks damage completely now. It's dumb. Not to mention they lowered his Base move speed and the move speed from his W. And lowered all of his base stats except mana. They screwed him.

Just wanted to participate in this ask towards Riot, to possibly bring back the skillset of the Pre-Rework Shen. i Did Mained him, and had a lot of fun playing him mainly in the role of a Support, Top or Jungler, i was really happy when Rito decided to buff him a little bit around s5.

Would ask for his energy to have 200 max, as it was. With the passive: Ki strike: Every 15 seconds Shen empowers his next basic atack, dealing bonus 30 /45 /70 (+10% Bonus AP + 10% bonus AD) to his target) Every auto atack of Shen reduces the cooldown of Ki strike by 1 second. Secondary passive would be: Shen refounds 20 /30 /40 Energy when hitting targets with Ki Strike, and refounds 20 energy for each enemy champions hit with Vorpal blade or Shadow dash. Here are my Suggestions: Q - Vorpal blade: Cost: 80 /75 /70 /65 /60 energy. Cooldown: 17 /16 / 15 /14 /13 seconds. Blade Flight Speed: 1000 Shen throws out his blade in the direction of the cursor, at the end of its flight the blade stucks in the ground staying there for 4 seconds. The blade deals 55 -70 -85 -100 -115 (+25% bonus AP, + 25% bonus AD) magic damage to anything it hits on flight or on landing. Every target that the Blade hits will get marked for 4 seconds, atacking marked targets heals Shen and Atacking allies for 5-8-11-14-17 (+0.5% of Shen max HP) /the Vorpal blade would be a skillshot, like Ryze Q atm, with the old Healing Mechanics for teamgfight capabilities, dueling potential and better Jungle cleartime by turning it to Aoe/ Max range 350 (i'm not familiar with the ranges, this might be a bit too much, maybe barely enaugh) W - Feint: Cost: 50 Energy at all ranks. Cooldown: 18 /17 /16 /15 /14. Shen Shield himself for 60 /80 /100 /120 /140 (+2 /3 /4 /5 /6% of Shen Max HP) While Feint is Active, Shen gains increased 5-7-9-12-15% bonus Tenacity against crowd control effects. E - Shadow Dash: Cost 110/100/90/80/70 Energy. Cooldown: 24 /22 /20 /18 /16 seconds. Shen Dashes towards the direction of the cursor, dealing 100 /120/ 140/ 160 (+20% bonus AP +20% Bonus AD) Magic Damage to enemy Champions hit and Taunting them for 1.2 /1.6 /2 /2.4 /2.8 seconds. Flight Speed 1000. Enemy Champions Taunted by Shen deal 10 /15 /20 /25 /30% less damage for the Taunts' Duration. R - Stand United: No Energy Cost. Passive: with each level Shen gains 5 /10 /15% bonus atack speed. On cast, Shen Shields the Targeted Allied Champion and himself for 120 /160 /200 (+2 /4 /6% of Shen Max life) and after 4 seconds Shen teleports to the friendly Allied Champion.

A few other Changes would allso be welcome: the Current ingame model of Shen i found pretty awful, the old model seems better as a base, it would be nice to have that, but a bit more detailed.
