Any recommendations for fun to play and slightly mechanical champions in high elo?

Now right when you look at this post you may be wondering: "Why the fuck is there a level 13 kiddo talking about "high elo" sht." Well, apparently riot never syncs your boards profiles with your in game account until you ask them too. (Jesus Christ I have so many accounts that are displayed as "level 1" in my boards profile) I am currently plat II on my main account and have been climbing through platinum at a steady rate. (10-15 games for each tier, 30 for some reason for plat V cause I lost promos 4 times) I play Annie and Fiddlesticks mid. Annie having a 70% wr in 55 games and fiddle with a 75% wr in 30 games. The problem is that I don't know whether or not I can continue playing these champs due to nerfs that might happen to Fiddlesticks to make him not viable for mid anymore; and Annie just seeming incredibly boring and extremely repetitive. I am hoping to pick up Xerath or maybe Orianna (Once I get 4800 ip) and start maining them instead, would that be some decent picks?

Tbh I have probably gold-plat mechanical skill/micro skill, but my macro is around diamond I ish level. (Input made by a coach that I paid to spectate a few of my games and then etc. etc.)

By "high elo" I mean when I get to diamond+. Sorry if I misled you.

High Elo is all about 3 things listed below, arranged in order of importance :-

  1. Counter picking - like Vayne vs Sion Top or Alistar vs Zac Support ( kind of ) ... enough said.
  2. Reliability - when 2 champs have equal potentials, but one them require a mini game to achieve it while the other is fool proof, Reliability wins here unless there is a big difference in skill levels which is "supposedly" unlikely in tiers that are near each other.
  3. Play making a.k.a Skill - when 2 champs do not counter each other and have the same Reliability, only Skill will determine who is going to win which is the least favorite scenario even between "Pros".

Now pick ur Annie Fiddlesticks mid, make a list of every possible matchup they might be facing in mid and classify each matchp difficulty according to the above rules ... after that u can easily decide if u can keep maining them or change to a better one depending on results.

Those rules also apply to whole team comps, but i gave single lane examples to simplify the idea.
