Poor Ornn
Let's be honest, Riot fumbled hard with Ornn's balancing; first they removed unstoppable off his W, which makes screws his outplay abilities. Then they tried to do a reverse, trying to experiment, returning unstoppable but removing (not reducing) the shield off W, essentially screwing his early game but good. All while true damage is still on the board.
Then they made a very questionable change to his passive which would invalidate any use he can make in solo queue and masterwork items; it essentially stifles the potential use of his masterwork creations by limiting them by who gets what by when. I find this unneedingly clunky on a champ who already has a weak early game and dozens of counterpicks prevalent in game.
The only good things Ornn got out of this was Frozen Fist for himself, maybe, and Might of the Ruined King and Youmuu's wraithblade for allies. The latter two, I deem questionable from a solo-queue standpoint because of the aforementioned changes to the passive mechanics.
