Hello there everyone,

As most have noticed lately we are moving slowly back into a bruiser/Tank meta. one of the major causes of this is ofcourse the ease of use of this item. it shuts down a lot of Dmg dealing top laners. I'm fine with the item in general thornmail needed something like this to make it more viable early game. However it's a bit too strong in my opinion i have noticed even supports picking it up early in some of my games to screw over early fights in bot lane. My suggestions are quiet simple to lessen this impact. i have two changes that could be applied.

  1. Remove grievous wounds from bramblevest but keep it on thornmail. One of the major problems of this item is that it apply's Grievous wounds which shuts champions like Fiora or Aatrox (nobody plays aatrox but the situation apply's to him too) down in their laning phase.

  2. Change the recipy. increase it's cost and make it build out of 2xitem 1029 1xitem 1028 while increasing it's combination cost by 200-300 the same amount will be detracted from the cost to combine it into thornmail. this will result in Bramblevest having 150 health from the ruby crystal but beside's this it will also result in the gold being the same to build the final item while delaying how fast tanks can pick up this item.

Like i'm not the best player around nor have i been in charge of balancing. but the item seems a bit too good for the current meta and it could spiral out of control pretty quick. These are just my Thoughts and opinions on Bramblevest

I don't like the first one as it would remove the peculiarity of the item, but I like a lot the second one. Of course, this item will need some attention in the near future and I hope good constructive suggestions like yours will help the developers do their best.

can we delete executioners calling and make mortal reminders last whisper+ 2 longs swords for the exact same reason.

I play a lot of Tryndamere and every time its some shitty tank building tabi and thornmail starting with bramble first. Of course its understandable they would do they and I don't fault them but when those items give them superior dueling capabilities compared to me who actually invests in damage its retarded.

There is no one item you can buy to have even a chance of fighting them even two items, you are forced to completely ignore them because you just take too much damage and deal next to nothing in return. I don't know why riot caters to the lowest common denominator, the tank players but not much I can do about it.
