So, this account was unranked all season, so I played 3 games of ranked and It literally says im iron 4 then iron 3 then iron 2. But when I go on op.gg and click mmr it shows gold. So if I play my 10 placements will I get ranked gold or iron like my in game profile suggests? Thanks in advance.

Marshbouy1 votesthey changed the new system to give you a "minimum place" that can only get higher the more placements you play.
Rock MD1 votesRiot has already said this is how you'll do your placements now.
You get a placement after your first game (iron 4, for new players), and for the next 9 games you'll have big LP gains and no losses. After these 10 games which will get you to where you should start out, then LP behaves like it should normally.
