New player, suddenly gaining low LP per win

not sure if this is the right place to ask, i think so, i've seen more questions like this being asked here.

so i've been climbing pretty good for my doing. I started in silver 4 after my placements and i climbed to Platinum 4 with a 68w/41l (62%WR) ratio. First i gained like +22/+24 LP in gold, but now i reached Platinum i gain only +18. is this normal for higher ranks? for the simple reason you just climb slower? last season i got to Gold 1 if thats any relevant.

Or is it because this 'system' in place thinks i dont belong in platinum and thats why it suddenly gives me lower LP gain, to sort of keep me in this bracket?

Kinda depends on the moderations moods and if people report the thread.

Far as your question. The short answer is that LP slant tends to reflect what your hidden MMR value is. You can usually look up your Match averages on Op.GG and then compare It to your rank. Pretty good rule of thumb and you usually will see the Slant reflect the direction of match average to account rank.

Ya it seems like they did something. I was -12/+24 and now (no change in win rate) Im -16/+19. Just happened one day.
